Biography

Howard F. Angione has been the principal editor of three legal texts covering trusts, estates probate and guardianship:

  • Elder Law and Guardianship in New York
  • Estate Planning and Taxation in New York; Harris 5th Edition
  • Probate, Administration in Litigation in New York; Harris 5th Edition

He is also the co-author of a computer-based set of forms for guardianship petitions and administration in New York State.

He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, a member of the Executive Committees of the Elder Law Section and of the Trusts and Estates Section of the New York State Bar Association, and vice chairman of the Elder Law Section of the Queens County Bar Association.

From 1998 to 2004, he served as the editor-in-chief of the New York State Bar Association Journal, the magazine for members of the New York State Bar Association.

A graduate of St. John's University Law School, he received a master's degree from Clark University and a bachelor of arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross.
